Refund Policy for Handmade Items

At The Freckled Moose Co., we take pride in the craftsmanship and uniqueness of each handmade item we create. As all of our products are carefully made by hand, slight variations are part of their charm. We aim to ensure customer satisfaction, but due to the nature of our products, the following refund policy applies:

  • No Refunds on Customized Handmade Items: All sales are final on customized handmade products. Due to the time and materials invested in creating each unique piece, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, dissatisfaction with customization choices, or minor variations in appearance.

  • Damaged or Defective Items: If your item arrives damaged or defective due to a production or shipping error, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product. We will require photos of the damage or defect and will work with you to either replace the item or offer a partial or full refund, depending on the issue.

  • Order Accuracy: We encourage all customers to carefully review their orders before submission. Once an order is placed, we may not be able to modify the details. Be sure to double-check all personalization and customization options.

  • Returns for Non-Custom Items: In the rare case that we offer non-customized, ready-made items, these may be eligible for return or refund. Please contact us within 14 days of receipt to discuss the return process. The item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned at the buyer's expense.

  • Exceptions: While we generally do not accept refunds, if there are extraordinary circumstances that require review, please contact us. We handle these on a case-by-case basis and strive to find a fair resolution.
